Invisalign: An Alternative to Braces

Your Initial Consultation

Before beginning treatment, our dentist must first ensure you are a good candidate for Invisalign, as it's not appropriate for everyone. Good candidates for Invisalign have mild to moderate misalignment and no other oral health issues, like untreated cavities. If our dentist finds that you meet the criteria, you can proceed to the first step in the treatment process.

Building Your Treatment Plan

Each Invisalign treatment plan is highly personalized to each patient. To create your custom treatment plan, our dentist will begin by taking digital impressions of your teeth. These impressions are used to create all of the aligners you will use throughout treatment as well as to simulate your potential results.

More about the Aligners

The aligners are custom-made to apply gentle pressure to your teeth at every phase of treatment to gradually shift your teeth into the correct position. The clear material makes them virtually invisible and they're removable, so you can enjoy all your favorite foods and easily brush and floss your teeth.

Treatment Progress

To ensure your treatment progresses in a timely manner, our dentist recommends wearing your aligners at least 22 hours per day, removing them only to eat and clean your teeth. Every two weeks, you'll switch to the next aligners in your treatment plan. You'll return to our office every four to six weeks so our dentist can monitor your progress and provide you with additional aligners so you can continue with treatment.

Paying for Treatment

Dental insurance doesn't always fully cover Invisalign (and some plans don't cover this cosmetic dentistry treatment at all). To make this advanced treatment option accessible to more of our patients, we offer CareCredit, a convenient financing option. We also accept several other forms of payment, including credit cards and checks.
